Nokia unveil Two Dual SIM phones

‘Nokia’s Twins Day Out’, a first-of-its-kind festival organised to unveil Nokia’s new dual SIM phones - Nokia C2-00 (specfication) and Nokia X1-01 (specfication) - saw the presence of 63 pairs of twins of different age groups under one roof on June 4, 2011 in New Delhi.
Viral Oza, Director Marketing, Nokia India said, “We are very excited about this recognition bestowed upon us by the prestigious Limca Book of Records. We are always looking for unique ways to connect to our consumers and the concept behind organizing this fun activity was to showcase the dual power exhibited by the city twins symbolizing our two new powerful dual SIM phones.”
Nokia ran a digital and radio campaign for about four weeks inviting the twins in the city to launch the new Nokia dual SIM phones and become Nokia’s Brand Ambassadors for a day. The festival saw the presence of twins aged between 15 months to 48 years enjoying themselves as they participated in games and various fun activities organized by Nokia.
The event was especially designed and themed around ‘the twin power’. Available at attractive and affordable price points, the Nokia C2-00 Dual SIM Internet and Nokia X1-01 Dual SIM Music phones address the consumer need for a Nokia multimedia phone with Dual SIM functionality. Both mobile handsets offer Nokia’s unique Easy Swap function for smarter multiple SIM management, largest in category expandable memory capabilities (32GB for Nokia C2-00) and enhanced music capabilities (in-built loudspeakers at a whopping 106phon for the Nokia X1-01).
The intuitive devices remember settings for up to five separate SIM cards. Both devices come with Nokia’s innovative services including Nokia Life Tools which provide consumers with a wide range of information covering healthcare, agriculture, education and entertainment. Nokia X1-01 also comes pre-loaded with Nokia Money to help deliver financial independence to entry consumers.
